CHARLOTTE -- Castle, Inc. is a proud supporter of the Young Wood Pro Award program at this year's Wood Pro Expo in Charlotte. They will be presenting a New Castle 100 screw pocket machine to the winner. Castle Inc. is committed to recognizing exceptional achievement in the woodworking craft and promoting excellence in the industry. 

The Castle 100 will be presented by Max Durney, founder of Castle, at the Young Wood Pro reception and award ceremony at the Charlotte Wood Pro Expo.  The winner of the competition will be announced at the Woodworking Network booth on Feb. 15 at 4:00 p.m. The Top 5 finalists have been named for the Young Woodworking Professionals Competition, which recognizes outstanding projects and the young wood pros that created them. Almost 70 entries were submitted.  
Castle, Inc. is an American Machinery Manufacturer championing the cause of the American entrepreneurial woodworker since the 1980's. Castle develops products intended to support woodworking shops in their efforts to be productive and thrive.
Wood Pro Expo is the regional show that brings education, equipment, and supplies close to cabinetmakers and custom woodworking businesses around the country. It includes a strong educational program on best practices for shop production, and as well as an expo oriented to equipment and supplies geared to the small- and medium-size shops, including CNC basics, employee recruitment, finishing, lean manufacturing, business management, software, and shop safety.
Launched in 2014 in Baltimore, the show moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania last year, and returns to Lancaster in October 2018. To learn more, go to
