CHARLOTTE - Accurate Technology’s ProPanel is a large handheld, portable caliper, designed to measure panels and flat products. The company will be exhibiting in Booth #110 at the co-located Wood Pro Expo Charlotte/Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo, March 6-8 in the Charlotte Convention Center.

 

With repeatability of 0.001 inches, ProPanel can measure many different features of parts, including outside-to-outside dimensions, inside-to-inside dimensions, hole-to-hole, edge-to-hole, comparison of diagonal measurements, and more. It comes included with four cylinders that are used with the jaws to compare diagonal measurements.

 

Perfect for shop-floor applications, the company says the rugged anodized aluminum rail and hard anodized jaws are long lasting and durable, even when debris is present. The standard range is in sizes up to 120 inches, but custom sizes up to 16 feet are also available, as well as custom designs including absolute encoder designs.

 

It features special functions such as Go/NoGo, summation of part lengths, MIN, MAX, and AVG statistics, while a built-in SPC port can be used to send measurements over wired or wireless connections. It also features a digital readout that can remember calibration information for five different inserts and/or attachments.

 

ProPanel also features a sliding carriage that moves on four ultra-low friction bearings to minimize pitch and yaw errors, a large LCD readout, automatic temperature sensing and auto-correction for CTE, and the company’s Series II measuring technology.
