See new edgebanders and CNCs on display by Laguna Tools at Charlotte show

CHARLOTTE - Laguna Tools will be exhibiting its CNC machines and edgebanders in Booth #519 at the co-located Wood Pro Expo Charlotte/Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo. The show takes place March 6-8 at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina.
 
On display will be the Laguna SmartShop III CNC machine, which was engineered to utilize Fanuc technology to ensure accuracy and reliability. With cutting speeds up to 1,600ipm, it features a dual support, direct drive, helical rack and pinion design; a standard eight-position, dynamic automatic rotary tool changer; full 3D capacity with helical interpolation; and a pod-ready, universal vacuum table.
 
Also on display will be the Laguna Bandit 4, which is part of the new range of compact, automatic edgebanders for small- to medium-sized shops. With a solid, heavy-duty structure, it features three speeds, a quick melt glue system, dual motor end-trim, top and bottom trim, and a PLC touch-screen control.
 
 
The Wood Pro Expo brand comprises a series of strategic regional events, located in key areas throughout the United States where professional woodworkers congregate. Wood Pro Expo features a full day of education and tours followed by two expo days oriented to equipment and supplies focused on the small-to-medium size shops. The educational offering includes CNC basics, employee recruitment, finishing, lean manufacturing, business management, software, and shop safety.
 
The Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo is an annual event featuring a full-day conference, plant tour, and exposition, and is dedicated to home remodeling professionals specializing in building kitchen cabinets, closets, and other home storage designs.
