CHARLOTTE - Biesse will be demonstrating its Brema Eko 2.1 vertical CNC machining center in Booth #330 at the co-located Wood Pro Expo Charlotte/Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo. The show takes place March 6-8 at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina.
Compact and versatile, the Eko 2.1 supports the machining of different thickness and size formats and is ideal for any size shop manufacturing kitchen cabinets, closets, vanities, and office furniture. The Brema machines can carry out all boring, milling, and glue and dowel insertion operations, as well as manage additional hardware inserts.
Designed for batch-one production and zero setup, the Eko 2.1 features two independent grippers and achieves loading and unloading through maximum ergonomics. Also, the company says its structure allows for high productivity while requiring a much smaller floor space.
In addition to being a WPE/CCCE exhibitor, Biesse is also sponsoring the plant tour at Carocraft Cabinets, which is included as part of the March 6 conference. Carocraft Cabinets is a leading custom architectural millwork firm that has offered custom, commercial case- and millwork since 1976.
