Castle launches portable screw pocket power tool

CHARLOTTE -- Castle Inc. announced the launch of the Castle 100 pocket hole machine; a rugged and portable screw pocket power tool that will let professionals and home woodworkers alike create the distinctive Castle 6 degree low angle screw pocket. Castle will be showcasing the product at the upcoming Wood Pro Expo in Charlotte NC February 14-17 2018.  Castle Inc. believes the Castle 100 will make the Castle low angle 6 degree screw pocket available to an expanded segment of woodworking enthusiasts who, up until now, have had to use awkward plastic jigs that deliver less than optimal results.After 35 years of building screw pocket equipment for the professional woodworking industry Castle is now reaching out to the prosumer or DIY consumer through popular woodworking publications and a comprehensive digital marketing campaign. “For years we have wanted to share the advantages of the Castle pocket with more than the professional woodworkers who use our industrial equipment every day, and now finally we can.” Max Durney, award-winning designer and founder of Castle Inc. Wood Pro Expo is the regional show that brings education, equipment, and supplies close to cabinetmakers and custom woodworking businesses around the country. It includes a strong educational program on best practices for shop production, and as well as an expo oriented to equipment and supplies geared to the small- and medium-size shops, including CNC basics, employee recruitment, finishing, lean manufacturing, business management, software, and shop safety.
