SAN DIEGO – Attendees of the 2022 Closets and Wood Pro conferences will take an exclusive video tour of Montbleau & Associate’s state-of-the-art architectural millwork production facility in Tijuana, Mexico.

Woodworking Network is sending a video crew to the 90,000-square-foot plant to document its technology and processes. In addition to a plethora of high-tech machinery, including multiple 5-axis and nesting CNC routers, the facility houses an automated UV finishing operation.

Presentation of the inside-Montbleau video at the joint Closets and WPE conference will be immediately followed by a live interview of Ron Montbleau, CEO of Montbleau, by Harry Urban, publisher of Woodworking Network. Montbleau will also entertain questions from the audience.

With 2021 sales of approximately $50 million, Montbleau & Associates ranks No. 142 in the FDMC 300. The company manufactures millwork and casework for corporate, hospitality, and healthcare projects, much of it incorporating high-end wood veneers. Its client roster includes high-profile tech companies such as Apple, Google, Facebook, and Amazon.

Ron Montbleau, who founded the company bearing his name in 1980, was named a 2018 Wood Industry Leader by Woodworking Network. On the occasion of that honor, Montbleau told Woodworking Network, “Montbleau is a highly skilled team of engineers, project managers, and craftsmen. Our role is to bring projects that are demanding in design, demanding in materials – projects that are high-end in nature – to completion. And the more complex the product, the better we are in the marketplace.”

The company was profiled by FDMC magazine in 2018, and is ranked in the FDMC 300 as one of the largest architectural woodworking firms in North America.

The video tour and interview with Montbleau will cap off the full-day Closets and Wood Pro conferences. The session will conclude with a reception for all conference attendees.
