GRAND RAPIDS - The Wood Component Manufacturers Association elected new officers to its board of directors at the annual Fall Conference and Plant Tour Event, held Aug. 21-23 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Elected to the WCMA board of directors are Todd Dennison of Brown Wood Inc., Mark Paisley of Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers.

Leon Osborne of Osborne Wood Products was also elected to the board and will assume the role of vice president. Serving with Osborne on the Executive Committee are: Steve Mashl, Valley Custom Door, president; Steve Gerber, Gerber Wood Products, treasurer; and Sid Anderson, Anderson Wood Products Co., immediate past president.

Jack Morton, Eagle Machinery, is the new ex-officio Technical Partner representative. He replaces Christina Elsenbroek of Stiles Machinery.

Also retiring from the board of directors are: Paul Dow, Yoder Lumber Co.; Mike Schulke, Tigerton Lumber Co.; Jeremy Rentschler, Indiana Dimension Inc.

The WCMA represents U.S. and Canadian manufacturers of dimension stock and wood components for cabinetry, furniture, architectural millwork, closets, flooring, staircases, building materials, and decorative/specialty products, made from hardwoods, softwoods, and  composite panels.
