FORT MILL, S.C. -- Weima is holding its 2017 International Dealer Event at their newly expanded Fort Mill, South Carolina, demonstration location. Martin Friz, Weima CEO, updates the group of more than 100 dealer personnel from around the world on June 21. There are ongoing technical sessions, full product line demonstrations and off-site tours of Weima installations during the three-day event.
The company makes size reduction machinery for the wood, paper, and plastic industries. Weima had earlier acquired a 24,000 square foot building and approximately two more acres of land next to its original facility just south of Charlotte, North Carolina. This new building will house the technical department’s offices as well as a newly upgraded parts warehouse and manufacturing shop. The current building will continue to be used by the accounting, marketing, sales, and administrative departments.
