Wood Industry 40 Under 40 Superstars - Call for 2016 nominations
Woodworking Network has launched the Wood Industry 40 Under 40 recognition program to recognize superstars in our industry.

Help us find the individuals in the next generation of people who are destined to make an impact on the wood products manufacturing industry in North America. We are seeking disruptors, innovators, rebels, those who have broken the rules or worked out of the box to make our industry - or the world - a better place. (Maybe it’s you!)

This could be someone who’s come up with a killer idea, a project, product, and process, perhaps even incubated a business. Someone who is a superstar in any area relating to wood production: programming, design, marketing, manufacturing, research, etc., and creates a vibe around them that inspires others. It's someone who is making a special contribution to their organization, or to our industry as a whole, in areas like:

Wood Industry 40 Under 40

•    Productivity
•    Profitability
•    Social Good (locally, or globally)
•    Ingenuity
•    Innovation
•    Peer Inspiration
•    Product Development
•    Organizational Leadership
•    Something we missed?

Winners from the candidates for Wood Industry  40 Under 40 Superstars will be selected by Woodworking Network’s editorial team.

Once a nomination is submitted, Woodworking Network will contact the candidate and let them know they’ve been nominated, answer any questions they may have, and fill in any additional information required. Candidates must be involved in the wood manufacturing industry, and must have been under 40 in 2016.

Deadline: June 24, 2016

40 Under 40 Superstars (and their nominators) will be invited to a party at the 2016 International Woodworking Fair, sponsored by the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America, where they will be singled out and receive a plaque.
