Education outreach to technical and woodworking colleges at Cabinets & Closets Expo

Woodworking Network is welcoming California woodworking colleges and technical school faculty and students to attend the 2016 Cabinets & Closets Expo, March 23-24 at the Pasadena Convention Center. Educators and their woodworkers-in-training will be able to visit more than 95 exhibits, and attend keynotes, show floor lectures, see state-of-the-art machinery operating, and learn about applications of hardware, software, and see the latest panel and wood component trends.

Educational institutions can use the code CCSTUDENT when registering for the Expo. In addition, and special courtesy rate is available for the March 22 Conferences, including the Cabinets Track, Closets Trach, and the all-day Finishing COnference poresented by the AWFI. 

"Woodworking Network supports education as part of our corporate mission, and as a service to the industry," says Tim Fixmer, CEO of CCI Media, which owns and operates Cabinets & Closets Expo. Fixmer is a board member of the Woodwork Career Alliance Education Committee.
