COCONUT CREEK, FL - Bush Industries office furniture stars this week in the ongoing mini-series, Operation Build, joining a volunteer project at a Ronald McDonald House to help with volunteer office space renovations.
Bush looks to create an innovative office solution with new ergonomically correct workstations and offices.
There are fundamentals to good office design, says based upon the work tasks that needs to be taken into account which includes: restrictions of room configuration, placement of fixed items in the room like columns, doors, windows, lighting, electrical and overall shape, needs for work surface space, primary and secondary storage, collaboration or privacy needs, and so on.
For the staff offices at the Ronald McDonald House in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, the goal was to provide a better workspace that includes ample space, convenient storage, integration of applied technology and contemporary styling.
“With the remodeling of the office space for the house volunteers, we really wanted to supply them with the latest styles in furniture,” said Lysa Liemer, executive producer of Operation Build. “Bush Industries is an excellent office furniture company that will toss the old and dated cubicles and create a fluid and bright office.”
You can catch Bush Industries on Operation Build’s Labor Of Love Special Saturday, September 12, 2015 7:30 a.m. ET/PT on the History Channel and again Saturday, September 19, at 7:30 a.m. ET/PT on the H2.
Operation Build travels all over the country discovering great home improvement concepts in renovations, remodels, and do-it-yourself projects. Part history, part reality, part building technology; each episode has a project objective where our host &“GM”, Alexi Panos and her building team are tasked to complete, while being under a renovation deadline and a homeowner’s need to complete a project on time, before a big event. Alexi’s build team is led by award winning designer Alena Capra and veteran build expert Andrew Dan-Jumbo. Whether the team is picking up the pieces and rebuilding after a disaster such as a fire or flood, or coming to the rescue on a remodel gone wrong, the Operation Build team gets the job done.
