CHARLOTTE, N.C. - After a successful Tech Tour in October, Biesse is offering two opportunities to see some of what the company says is the most advanced production facilities in the world.

With Biesse’s product experts guiding attendees through Italy, the first opportunity will be the 2018 Spring Tech Tour, which is scheduled for the week of May 10 with a registration deadline of April 6, and the second will be the Fall Tech Tour, scheduled for the week of Oct. 13 with a registration deadline of Aug. 31.

The Tour will visit a variety of medium to large manufacturers and experience machinery from across Biesse’s entire range with a strong emphasis on automation. Attendees will discover how companies have successfully implemented digital factories and smart technology, taking their production into the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

“Biesse will continue the format of our past tech tours and this year see the hottest 4.0 trends in our industry,” said Jason Varelli, Biesse’s brand sales manager. “[That includes] robust robotic part sorting, hardware insertion, and labor saving automation.”

Space is limited, so participation is requested to be limited to a maximum of two people per company. Space can be reserved by emailing Jason Varelli at [email protected] or by phone at 704-307-6416.

Founded in Pesaro, Italy in 1969, by Giancarlo Selci, Biesse Group designs, manufactures, and distributes machines, integrated systems, and software for manufacturers of furniture, door/window frames, and components for the construction, ship-building, and aerospace industries. With 4000 employees throughout the world, the company operates through eight industrial sites, 34 branches, and 300 agents and selected dealers, exporting 90 percent of its production.
