Upholstery frame workshop

About the Event:

A day of training on upholstery frames in downtown Hickory, North Carolina, is planned at 1990 Main Ave SE, Hickory just off Tate Blvd behind the First Plaza Building.

They open the doors at 8 am for coffee and start at 9 am with TriMech focusing on using 3-D modeling software for frames. At 11 am they turn things over to Quis Machinery who will focus on affordable technology to make frames easier and with lower manufacturing costs.

At noon they break for lunch with TriMech and Quis Machinery picking up the tab so folks don't have to go out for lunch. At 2 pm they turn the focus over to Daniel Hayes of Craftmaster who will teach how to use a stopwatch to develop labor rates for sewing and frames.
