63rd Annual Architectural Woodwork Institute Convention

About the Event:

The Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) will host the 63rd Annual AWI Convention beginning Sunday, September 27, 2015 through Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the Little America Hotel, Salt Lake City, Utah.  The Convention will mark 63 years of convention education and networking designed specifically for architectural woodworkers. 

The education at the Convention will include Alan Beaulieu, President, ITR Economics providing an economic outlook for the industry,  Kevin Fisher, 3form, speaking on 3form's marketing strategies over the last 13 years, Cam Marston, President,  Generational Insights, speaking about attracting and retaining a new generation of employees, and Erik Fetzer, Fetzer Architectural Woodwork, speaking on making technology work for you. 

The Awards Luncheon on Monday will honor achievements of AWI Chapters, Standard of Excellence recipients, and recognize AWI members who volunteer to help AWI advance its programs.  The Awards Lunch on Tuesday will celebrate safety winners and applaud other honorees for their commitment to AWI.  And, the Grand Finale Dinner at the Natural History Museum of Utah will honor special honorees and signify the change in association leadership.  Members will also have the opportunity to develop valuable connections with AWI's Supplier Members and industry vendors available throughout the convention to discuss new products and services.  

Tours and fun include plant tours at Fetzer Architectural Woodwork and 3form, Team Building at the Utah Olympic Oval, Salt Lake City area activities or tours, First Ladies Luncheon at Log Haven, and networking receptions.
