IMA America introduces the IMA-series Quadromat TS, a single-sided automatic edgebanding and finishing machine equipped with the ICOS TS control system.  The IMA patented machine concept is designed for a true one-man operation, says the company, because of an integrated reversible feed chain. The integrated reversible feed chain transports the panel forward  through the machine to process it, similar to a conventional edgebander, and then reverses the transport direction, returning the part back to the operator at the infeed of the machine. The Quadromat TS-series offers a small footprint, due to the integrated reversible feed chain, which avoids the need for an additional panel return conveyor.  The machine is equipped with a joint-milling unit, a gluing-unit, a multiple milling unit (MMU), a flat scraper, a profile scraper and a buffing unit.  It also includes an ergonomically-designed , user-friendly touch screen controller and has a high feed speed of 18 m/min.
