I use a lot of 1 x 2s and 2 x 2s in projects I make around the house. Of course, they're 8' when I buy them. I have always had them cut at the store but now I'm buying some tools for home. What is the best tool for cutting these to the length I want them to be...say 6-inch or 12-inch pieces, for example? Circular saw, jigsaw, reciprocating saw? Is there an attachment for the Dremel that easier? I can't find the answer to this question anywhere, so I'm assuming the answer is probably so simple that nobody's asking. Thank you for any help!
