An inventor has come up with reCORDED, an adapter that lets battery powered tools plug directly into wall sockets.His first offering is for DeWalt drivers.

"The spirit of reCORDED is to function as a stand-alone power supply for your cordless tools, in the absence of a battery," says developer Lucas Kramm. "If you are working in the garage and burn through all your charged batteries, reCORDED will let you convert your battery operated tool into a corded power tool so you can finish the job."
