PASADENA, Calif. - The Cabinet Makers Association (CMA) has announced that they will host an educational, one-day regional event on March 26, 2018 in Pasadena, California that will feature tours of local CMA member shops.
Registration to the one-day event also includes access to the Cabinets & Closets Expo on March 28-29 at the Pasadena Convention Center. There is an additional charge for the conference program on March 27, during which the CMA will host a series of informative sessions, including the popular “What’s your Problem?” round table discussion.
These events are aimed to connect similar-sized shops around North America with the purpose of sharing best practices and business acumen, while learning how other businesses do what they do. In addition to the plant tours and educational seminars, the regional events also encourage networking and a chance to talk shop and share issues, solutions, and even projects. CMA membership is not required to participate.
The CMA was incorporated in 1998 by a group of custom cabinet makers who thought the small- to mid-size shop needed to network and help each other grow profitably. Currently, CMA membership is made up primarily of 20 or fewer employee operations with the vast majority of those being 1-5 person shops.
