LOS ANGELES - The TM Closet, the first-ever mobile shoe closet from fashion designer Tamara Mellon, co-founder of Jimmy Choo, is nearing the end of its cross-country tour.

The TM Closet, which is a 24-foot-truck with floor-to-ceiling glass panels and shoe cubbies, is filled with the brand's best-selling luxury shoes. Customers enter the TM Closet through the back of the truck, which opens up inside the shop.

"We are always looking for new ways to make luxury accessible to more women," says Mellon. "Driving cross-country to meet our customer gives us the unique opportunity to connect with her in person. To better understand our woman and her needs, nothing is more valuable than a face-to-face conversation."

This unique retail concept and road trip, which celebrates the success and luxury retail experience of its first brick-and-mortar location at the Palisades Village in Los Angeles, launched in Boston in September and is scheduled to visit 14 cities.

Remaining tour dates include:

11/30 – 12/3
Glendale, CA | The Americana at Brand

12/5 – 12/8
Los Angeles, CA | The Grove

12/12 – 12/15
San Jose, CA | Santana Row
