B PIÙ s.r.l., an Italian company that specializes in cutting, folding and welding of a variety of materials, patented the Eclettica spiral staircase in 2011. 
 
 
The staircase can be designed in a variety of styles from modern to traditional and its steps can be used as storage compartments, bookcases, shoe racks or bottle holders, the company says. Doors or drawers can be applied in a number of ways as well as decorative and wood panels. 
 
 
B PIÙ s.r.l. says Eclettica can adapt to different ceiling heights and is placed in the home completely finished.
