LOS ANGELES - January is Get Organized (GO) month, an annual campaign by the National Association of Productivity & Organizing professionals (NAPO) aimed at encouraging homeowners to start the new year by eliminating clutter. The Los Angeles chapter is continuing the celebration of GO month with “Get Organized: An Evening with Peter Walsh” on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 8:00 pm at the Harmony Gold Theater.
Walsh, a famed professional organizer and expert as well as a New York Times bestselling author and regular contributor to The Rachael Ray Show and O: The Oprah Magazine, will speak about his latest book, "Let It Go: Downsizing Your Way to a Richer, Happier Life," at the event. Following his presentation, a panel of NAPO-LA professional organizers will join Walsh on stage to hold a Q&A session and give actionable advice about how to downsize and get organized. This special evening is presented by NAPO-LA and 1-800-GOT-JUNK? (full-service junk removal company).
“What I know for sure is that when you declutter – whether it’s in your home, your head, or your heart – it is astounding what will flow into that space that will enrich you, your life, and your family,” Walsh says.
“We could think of no one better suited to speak at our GO Month event than renowned organizer Peter Walsh,” says Laura Ellis, CPO, President of NAPO-LA. “Peter instills the spirit of ‘letting go’ with a sense of joy and purpose: he reminds us that what comes after makes it all worth it.”
Tickets to “Get Organized: An Evening with Peter Walsh” are $29 for general admission and $92.50 for the VIP package (includes reserved seating, VIP reception with Walsh, signed book and parking) and are available at http://www.letgolosangeles.eventbrite.com.
