Simpson Strong-Tie Donates $25,000 to Hurricane ReliefPLEASANTON, CA –  Simpson Strong-Tie, a maker of wood-to-concrete anchors and brackets for wood beams and trusses, is donating $25,000 to the American Red Cross for recovery efforts along the East Coast.

Funding goes to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for aid in providing food, shelter, emotional support to those affected by the hurricane.

Simpson Strong-Tie is also matching employees' personal contributions to the Red Cross and other  disaster relief organizations.

“We hope that through the combined national support efforts, the East Coast will be able to quickly recover and rebuild the communities that have been devastated,” said Simpson Strong-Tie president Terry Kingsfather in announcing the Hurricane Sandy relief contribution initiative.
