Modern Design: Custom Cabinetry in a BoxBOX Kitchen is a new line of modular cabinetry for the kitchen that ships in a box. With a modern design and feel, it is a complete kitchen system that is customizable and is available in colored laminates and wood veneer. BOX Kitchen is shipped fully assembled and wrapped and includes hardware needed for installation as well as an installation manual.

Designer Christine Ingraham is the creative force behind this new modular and modern kitchen cabinet system. Her company, Fletcher Cameron Design, which she started with her husband, is a full-service kitchen design firm. The kitchen in a box concept was born of her idea that the kitchen is the heart of the home and should be both “beautiful and functional” as well as available at a cost effective price point. BOX Kitchen was developed as a way to provide "accessible priced, precision-engineered kitchen systems that are made in America," she says in her bio.

"BOX Kitchen is a natural step in my evolution as a designer," Ingraham adds. "Given my family history, I suppose it is not surprising that BOX Kitchen has an American sensibility, reflects the American lifestyle and is made in America."

Ingraham is the great granddaughter of the renowned American architect Frank Lloyd Wright and her father was a student of his. "A total sense of design was part and parcel of my daily environment," she continues in her bio. "My brother, sisters ad I grew up with an understanding of how to pace things in a room, how to hang things on a wall, how to arrange our spaces so they were beautiful and functional at the same time. We were raised with a broad view of our environment - that everything from furniture arrangements, to dinner tables to birth cards should be thoughtful, beautiful and functional."

Modern Design: Custom Cabinetry in a BoxBOX Kitchen will be on display at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, May 19-22 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. In collaboration with Fagor America, an appliance company, BOX Kitchen cabinetry will be featured around Fagor's new 24-inch fully integrated refrigerator.

"This year, at ICFF, we are featuring exciting color options and integrating Fagor appliances as an optional package offering," Ingraham said in a statement.
