ATLANTA, GA -- Hettich America showed off its latest innovations at the International Woodworking and Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair (IWF) in Atlanta, GA.

New products as well as product updates included the ArciTech steel drawer system, which was first introduced at the 2011 Interzum.

The lightweight drawer system offers architects flexible options for adding design elements such as granite and stone. The system is interchangeable with components that release and change out and is designed for the ultra, high-end luxury market.

Hettich also made updates to several of its existing product lines including Full Access Quadro (FAQ) Slide and its Grant folding and sliding door hardware. The FAQ slide was updated with a frameless version and also redesigned for more cabinet depth. Also, the E-Series for Grant folding and sliding door hardware was launched offering more versatility for single, pocket, bi-parting and by-passing applications from 75 pounds to 150 pounds.

Thomas Ginschel, president of Hettich America, also noted that the company has experienced a strong growth in sales since the beginning of the year, prompted in part by the warm weather. But Hettich has been able to maintain that growth, Ginschel says, and is well above industry and its 2011 sales.

Buford, GA-based Hettich America is a subsidiary of Hettich International, a family-owned business located in Kirchlengern, Germany. It is one of the largest cabinet and furniture hardware manufacturers in the world.
