PALO ALTO, CA — Houzz.com, an online community for home remodeling and design consumers and professionals, recently added new categories to its professional services program, bringing the total up to nearly 60.

“Homeowners and professionals alike are telling us that they are moving forward with more building, renovation and design projects this year,” said Liza Hausman, Houzz VP Community. “Houzz provides homeowners with the absolute best resource to find the right professional for their project.”

Since January, Houzz has experienced tremendous growth with its Pro+ marketing program with an approximate 350% increase in subscribers.

In a recent study of Houzz.com’s more than 200,000 professionals, 65 percent of those who are active on the site said they use the platform to generate new business inquiries. Also, approximately 69% said demand for their services is higher than it was one year ago.
