Home Furnishing Duo Launches New FirmVANCOUVER, B.C. - Brother and sister duo, Renee and Allan Switzer, recently launched their new home furnishings company, SwitzerCultCreative, which will feature handcrafted, modern and contemporary, as well as sustainable products for the residential and hospitality markets.

"We've been working hard over the past six months to create an exciting new company with a fresh and innovative mission," said Allan Switzer in a statement. "We are so proud to launch a company with a unique and organic approach to both product design and product distribution."

The Switzers have been in the high-end furniture design industry for more than 25 years with Renee working in business management and development and Allan in product design, development and sales. Both worked for their father's company, William Switzer & Associates Ltd., which was acquired by new owners last September.

The company currently carries three collections: AHRPA - designed by Umberto Asnago; Baumhaus - designed by Jess and Nicolas Meyer; and Sabina Hill - designed by Sabina Hill in collaboration with First Nations artists.

SwitzerCultCreative also sponsors an annual residential furniture design competition for students. The winner's project will be built and marketed by the company for one year. "Our aim is to promote unknown talent by providing a launching point for new designers to build their own brands," according to the website.
