Conestoga Wood Specialties Handles 150,000 Online Orders  EAST EARL, PA -  Conestoga Wood Specialties reports its dealer quote and order entry software, OrderLink, has now processed more than 150,000 electronic orders.

Built by AdvanceWare, Inc., the OrderLink system - accessible by dealers - handles 45% of all Conestoga orders. Orders are electronically submitted and acknowledge back to the customer within 10 minutes, then released into production upon approval. Orders no longer need to be rekeyed into Conestoga’s Order Entry System but are uploaded electronically saving valuable time and reducing order entry errors.

Conestoga Wood Specialties, one of the top U.S. manufacturers of wood cabinet components such as cabinet doors, drawer boxes, mouldings, and RTA cabinet systems, worked for five years with AdvanceWare in developing and implementing the quote and order entry software for Conestoga’s customers. The OrderLink project included implementation of AdvanceWare’s Pricing and Front Frame Configurator, plus custom programming to integrate data with  Conestoga legacy software systems.

The OrderLink software is used by Conestoga Customer’s to generate error-free quotes and orders for Conestoga’s Custom and Cabinet Systems product lines.

Chris Watson, COO at Conestoga, says the OrderLink project was instrumental in "helping us simplify and improve the quote and order entry processes immensely.”  Conestoga Wood Specialties was featured in the 2012 WOOD 100 for its productivity enhancements that improved customer service.

Orders are electronically submitted and acknowledge back to the customer within 10 minutes, then released into production upon approval. Orders no longer need to be rekeyed into Conestoga’s Order Entry System but are uploaded electronically saving valuable time and reducing order entry errors.

Conestoga customer Michael Smith of remodeling and flooring firm Tilesmith, Inc., West Bend, WI, uses it to place his orders, and that it has helped "streamline [orders from] Conestoga’s overwhelming product line." In a release issued by AdvanceWare, Smith says Conestoga Wood Specialties' OrderLink "has resulted in fewer mistakes, better time management and increased profits for my company."

AdvanceWare software helps convert product specification catalogs into electronic catalogs for use by dealers, embedding manufacturing and engineering rules, graphics, and CAD files to be used by dealers to accurately price and order custom cabinetry and cabinet components.
