ARCHDALE, NC  – Häfele America Co. introduces SmartCab Storage System, a cabinet organization system which can be custom-configured to store a wide variety of household items into a standard base cabinet. This unit was specifically designed to fit into a 15” or 18” cabinet with a drawer above the door, a foundation of most home kitchens.

SmartCab is the only interchangeable storage system on the market. By designing SmartCab to fit in a standard kitchen base cabinet with a door/drawer configuration, Häfele has provided a more functional option that designers, architects and builders can provide their customers to help make items stored in base cabinets more accessible.

“Eighty percent of base cabinets produced have a drawer above the door but eighty percent of the accessories produced for base cabinets require a full height door,” explains Tripp. “SmartCab is a new solution for that eighty percent of base cabinets that can’t be outfitted with the products currently on the market.”
