GRAND RAPIDS, MI – As world-class supplier dealing with all aspects of panel sizing, Holzma scored well at the recent Nürnberg Expo in Germany with a number of innovations. New debuts included the new 2 series CNC panel saws and continued with the concept of the “grow-as-you-go" saw.

The new 2 series

With the launch of their new 2 series, the German company showed that they are consistently implementing their modular concept and are able to offer a high level of customization for their smallest series including the new HPP 230 and HPP 250 saws. Both models feature a significantly wider range of optional extras and a sleek new design.

The HPP 250 profiLine was introduced at Nürnberg, offering a range of possibilities for adapting to increased demands that is unusual to find in this compact class of saw. The new top model of the 2 series allows complex storage system integration, making it the right answer to the growing demand for automation.

'Grow-as-you-go' Saw

HOLZMA offers their customers a comprehensive modular system with needs-based, mostly retrofittable technologies for all requirements from software to feeding, and cutting to de-stacking.

At Nürnberg, HOLZMA showcased various expansion possibilities on an HPP 380 profiLine. The saw was equipped with complementary technologies such as “Easy2Feed”, a lift table integrated in the rear area of the saw. Power Concept was another example of retrofittable technologies that increase cutting performance by up to 40%. Automatic labelling at the pressure beam demonstrated a concept for improvement in production processes, and the parts buffer was an example of smooth work flow while de-stacking by forwarding finished parts to the next station.
