ClosetMaid News at International Builders' Show 2012 News

Ocala, Fla. – As more homeowners downsize to smaller properties or choose to make improvements to their existing home, having ample storage space that is organized continues to be important to today’s consumers. ClosetMaid, a business unit of Emerson™, provides solutions to fill that need with new and improved products and programs available to both builders and consumers.

The newly revamped MasterSuite® is ClosetMaid’s custom-designed and professionally installed line of storage and organization products. Available in five luxurious finishes, MasterSuite is sure to add a touch of style and elegance to any room of the home: Antique White, Candlelight, Chocolate Pear, Warm Cognac and White. All finishes, except for Candlelight, offer two styles of door and drawer fronts to choose from, including solid wood, raised panel and contoured edge.

Made of solid wood, drawers come standard with soft-closing full-extension glides, while doors have soft-closing hinges. Other standard features of the MasterSuite line include three-quarter-inch partition panels, European-style hardware, chrome fixtures and open grain embossing (except Antique White) with beautiful one millimeter-edge banding. Optional accessories include valet rods, belt and tie racks, jewelry trays, hutches, benches and center islands. Center islands are available in all five finishes with two new countertop finishes: Deep Star Bronze and River Gem Stone.

For added versatility, MasterSuite is available in 24-inch deep panels (in White only), ideal for out-of-the-closet use, such as lofts, laundry rooms and workspaces. With a ClosetMaid Authorized Dealer managing every step from design to installation, ClosetMaid products come with the quality homeowners expect from ClosetMaid and are backed by a lifetime Free Replacement Policy.

ClosetMaid is also introducing a new program at this year’s show: the Job at a Time Program (JAAT) for independent dealers/installers. JAAT enables ClosetMaid’s installing dealers to respond quickly to customers’ needs, resulting in a faster turnaround time. Product, such as MasterSuite, can be ordered specifically for the customer’s project which helps streamline product flow and builds efficiency since there is no inventory. It also gives customers access to the full breadth of ClosetMaid’s available finishes.

Remodeling and building professionals will be pleased to know that ClosetMaid products are now featured in LiveStorage™ Version 2.2, an industry-specific custom storage and closet 3D design tool for complex and build-to-order projects. LiveStorage allows for more than 20 room designs within one project – from kitchen pantry to master bedroom closet to garage. The new version of LiveStorage now features the following ClosetMaid enhancements as part of its product library: MasterSuite® ¾ inch closet system, ExecutiveSuite™, MultiSuite™, Low Profile Wire, Satin Chrome Wire and updated wire pricing. Products that are SCS Certified for containing recycled content can help meet LEED criteria specified by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
