Monroe, Wash. – Canyon Creek Cabinet Company was presented with the top award in green manufacturing last night at the 2012 Green Washington Awards. Sponsored by Seattle Business Magazine, these awards recognized companies and individuals who are leading the way in sustainability and green business practices. The 50 greenest companies, as well as winners and achievements in several categories, were announced at this special event.

Members of the Green 50 list were selected from companies of all sizes, including manufacturing, retail, recreation/hospitality and clean tech, as well as nonprofit organizations, government agencies and educational institutions. Entrants were judged on their impact to the environment, the comprehensiveness of their efforts and the extent to which they provide a model for other organizations. This is the second year in a row that Canyon Creek made the Green 50 list.
