Hi, I want to add 4 casters on the legs of our tv stand. They are tapered round dowel-like legs and the diameter is 7/8ths. The casters come with stems that are 10 or 11mm wide. The stems are about 1/2" to 1" high. My plan is to cut the legs down so as not to add height. So if the caster is 4" then I will cut 4" off the legs. I then want to drill the appropriate size hole for the stem and use a resin glue to secure the casters. Is this crazy? My concerns are; getting the drill at the proper angle in the leg.
