Richie DeMarco awarded 2018 ACSP Pioneer Award

PASADENA, Calif. - The Association of Closets & Storage Professionals (ACSP) presented Richie DeMarco, manager US market development closet segment for Richelieu Hardware, with its 2018 Pioneer Award during the Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo, held March 27-29 at the Pasadena Convention Center.
 
According to the association, the Pioneer Award is meant to “acknowledge contributions to the closet industry that are visionary, out of the box and exhibit a willingness to face risk in bringing value to the industry.”
 
In a presentation during the 2018 Top Shelf Design Awards reception, ACSP board members surprised DeMarco with the coveted award, acknowledging his passionate support of the organization and industry.
 
Previous ACSP Pioneer Award winners have included Neil Balter, founder of California Closets; Mike Carson, Inspired Closets and inaugural president of the ACSP; Closets & Organized Storage Magazine; Charles Costa, president of Sidelines Inc. and Jeff Klein, Closet Specialists and past president of ACSP.
