The Renaissance Convention Center Hotel won accolades for its comfortable setting and convenient location when Cabinets & Closets 2015 was staged there. Just 20 minutes from O'Hare Airport, is it 45 minutes from the heart of downtown Chicago. It is also surrounded by great dining and entertainment.

The convention center is also the location for Cabinets & Closets Expo 2017, which saw more than 100 exhibitors of panel, components, hardware, software applications and running machinery. Growing dramatically in each of the past three years, Cabinets & Closets Expo is the only tradeshow dedicated to closet, home storage, and home organization professionals. Strong attendance is expected at Cabinets & Closets 2017 owing to the robust home improvement and new construction market. Schaumburg is also centrally located in the large population of single family homes in the metropolitcan corridor, running from Chicago to Milwaukee.
