2017 Best In Wood winners announced at Wood Pro Expo

LANCASTER, P.A. - Winners of the 2017 Best In Wood competition were announced during a presentation at the 2017 Wood Pro Expo. The contest, which is given annually, honors custom woodworkers for their outstanding craftsmanship.

The 2017 winners (see the list below) were selected from the following categories: architectural millwork, commercial cabinetry/furniture, custom furniture, custom kitchen/bath cabinetry, residential built-ins and specialty items. All award winners and honorable mentions will be featured in FDMC magazine.
 
Bespoke, Larchwood, Iowa, took home the 2017 Overall Winner prize for the project "Regency Circular Office." The company will receive a $500 prize. Birdie Miller Designs, Stockton, New Jersey, received the most votes for 2017 Best In Wood People's Choice winner for its project "Wavey Oak Beam Head Board," which was designed by Joshua Zinder Architects and Designers, Princeton, New Jersey.
