VISTA, Calif. -- The twin-turbo Precision-6 of Apollo Sprayers International, Inc., a manufacturer of HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) products for spray finishing, is the winner of the Visionary Award for product innovation in the power tool category at the 2017 AWFS show in Las Vegas.

“We knew we had a great addition to the Apollo family, but now it has been confirmed by our industry peers,” said John Darroch, CEO. “HVLP manufacturers now have the validity that TrueHVLP turbo spray systems are not for just DIY and home hobbyists, but they are and always have been legitimate industrial tools.”

The Precision-6 enables the user to be able to atomize high viscosity, high solids paints and coatings with the soft, warm air from turbo technology, thus reducing the amount of coats and ultimately reducing pollution, all while maintaining production speeds.

Woodworking advantages of the Precision-6 include refined engineering, precision, and power and profitability. Apollo's pressure control system controls motor speed, and voltage and amperage while adjusting automatically for altitude and barometric pressure.

New features of the Precision-6 include throttle back control which permits the highest available flow pressure and increased motor longevity.  It also features an LCD message center with a pressure display, and an hour use meter.
