Max Hunter is the owner and founder of Western Dovetail, Incorporated. Max got started working with wood in his father's woodshop as a young boy, and continued the tradition to this day. In the early years, he learned to make custom furniture, and later expanded his role at George Hunter Design to include managing large scale millwork projects and residential cabinetry jobs. Eventually, Max started his own business making custom drawers for the woodworking industry., and so began Western Dovetail in 1993. After over 25 years of making drawers, Max is still running the company hands on and has earned a reputation of being the best in the business.
