USDA accepting grant applications for wood products

Washington D.C. – Grants worth approximately $13 million are available to support market innovation in wood products and wood energy. The Oct. 19 announcement from Deputy Agriculture Secretary Jewel Bronaugh came during a “Leaders for the Built Environment” virtual event and kicks off National Forest Products Week as proclaimed by President Biden.

Stiles Machinery hosts in-person seminar

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Woodworking machinery distributor Stiles Machinery is hosting an in-person technology and networking event. This year’s Manufacturing Solutions Seminar, the first in-person event since 2019, will be held Nov. 9-11 at Stiles’ High Point, North Carolina, showroom.
