Registration open for WCMA one-day regional plant tour event

LINDSTROM, Minn. – Registration is now open for the Wood Component Manufacturers Association’s 2019 One-Day Regional Plant Tour Event. The WCMA is partnering with Eagle Machinery & Supply Inc. to host the event, to be held June 20-21 in Lexington, Kentucky. The event includes tours of a state-of-the-art wholesale manufacturing facility, as well as a tour of one of Kentucky’s oldest and smallest distilleries. This event gives attendees an opportunity to see advanced machinery in action, and network with others in the industry.

CMA hosts regional cabinet event in North Boston

NORTH BOSTON, Mass. - The Cabinet Makers Association will hold a regional event June 13-14 in North Boston, consisting of shop tours, educational seminars, and networking opportunities. The CMA said it has been hosting high-value events such as this since 1998 as a means of connecting similar-sized shops around North America with the purpose of sharing best practices and business acumen, while learning how other businesses do what they do.

KI furniture names Krenke new CEO

GREEN BAY, Wis. - KI's board of directors has named Brian Krenke the company CEO. Krenke takes over for Dick Resch, who has served as KI CEO since 1983 and is a 55-year veteran of the company. Resch will remain on the KI board of directors and assume the title of executive chairman and chairman of the board.
