Technology & Innovations: Complete Coverage at the AWFS Fair
One Goal: To Be the Best in Business
In order to succeed in today’s competitive climate, you need to take advantage of all the technology, products and services available to improve your company’s productivity and profitability.

One place to see the latest and greatest innovations will be at the AWFS Fair, to be held July 20-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV. This year’s woodworking show boasts displays from approximately 600 exhibitors, with special areas set aside for new products: the New Products Showcase and a display for entries in the Sequoia product leadership awards, in the categories of Green/Environmental, Ergonomics/Safety, Innovative Technology and Productivity.

For those needing more information on green issues, AWFS has brought back the Green Desk. On hand will be experts to answer your questions on matters related to sustainability practices, green building, certification programs, and federal and state regulations that affect the woodworking industry. Check the AWFS Fair website at AWFSFair.org for a complete schedule of hours and topics.

Also be sure to check out the wealth of educational programs at AWFS, including two free ones sponsored by Vance Publishing, owners of Woodworking Network and the publications Wood & Wood Products, CWB/Custom Woodworking Business and CLOSETS. “State of the Woodworking Industry” will be presented at noon on Wednesday by Laurel Didier, VP and group publisher of the division. On Friday at noon, Steve Reiss, VP and publishing director, will share his insights on “What Can Digital Marketing Do for You?” Also, on Friday, Associate Publisher and Editor-at-Large Rich Christianson will moderate “Regulations that Affect the Woodworking Industry,” a free seminar through the College of Woodworking Knowledge.

For one-on-one discussions, be sure to stop by our Booth #2139 for a chance to meet our staff, including WWN bloggists and CWB columnists Rick Hill and Bernie Bottens; Bottens’ appearance is being sponsored by ML Campbell.
