Former Vice President Al Gore was the keynote speaker at Greenbuild 2009, a trade show that promotes sustainable building practices that took place in Phoenix, AZ, Nov. 11-13. In his speech, Gore said our climate, economy and security are linked by our dependence on carbon based fuels.

In addition to Gore's speech, another highlight of the opening night of Greenbuild was a performance by Sheryl Crow, a celebrity long-known for her support of the environmental movement.
