I have an old house with floor supports 16 inches apart 2 x 8 inches and have solid wood flooring on this followed by on top across with more solid oak flooring giving me 40mm of floor boards across planks. My supports go from to back and first floor boards go right to left and then more oak floor boards front to back total 40mm. What I would like to know will the floor support an aquarium in total of 1.7T running front to back 84 x 30 x 36 icnhes with steel frame and sump tank Any help would be great.
