Masco has entered into an agreement to sell its cabinetry division - which includes the KraftMaid, Merillat, QualityCabinets, and Cardell Cabinetry brands - to ACProducts Inc. for $1 billion.
ACProducts, Inc. (formerly Armstrong Cabinets) will acquire Elkay Wood Products Company, the cabinet division of Elkay Manufacturing, a plumbing products conglomerate.
Expanded production of acpi's Studio Full Access frameless cabinetry will begin in July with the startup of a 200,000-square-foot second manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania. The frameless line is sold under the Advanta Cabinets brand for the multifamily housing market.

American Industrial Partners named Larry Denbrock president and CEO of acpi. Formerly known as Armstrong Cabinets, acpi is one of the largest kitchen cabinet manufacturers in North America, selling under the Echelon Cabinetry and Advanta Cabinets brands.
