Symbiote grows its production facility

ZEELAND, MI – Symbiote, a furniture manufacturer, has expanded its operations in Zeeland in a move that officials says will create seven new jobs. Symbiote, which makes furniture such as work tables and storage for the biotechnology, education, healthcare and security industries, invested $626,000 to expand its operations, according to Lakeshore Advantage, an economic development organization.

HMA elects officers, board for 2022

Tommy Petzoldt, East Perry Lumber Company, Frohna, Missouri, was elected president of the Hardwood Manufacturers Association (HMA) at their National Conference and Expo in Miramar Beach, Florida, March 24. Other board members and officers were named at the event.

Häfele breaks ground on massive NC warehouse expansion project

Archdale, North Carolina – Häfele America Co. broke ground April 4 on a massive $13 million expansion to its warehouse facility here. Located in a large field between the street and the outer wall of the current Häfele America Co. Archdale, North Carolina warehouse, the expansion will add 94,200 sq. ft. of High-Rise Distribution Center space. That will bring the facility to 221,200 sq. ft. in total, increasing overall storage capacity by 60 percent.
