Karen Koenig, editor of Wood & Wood Products magazine, tours Oshkosh Door Co., a manufacturer of five-ply architectural doors, LEED- and FSC-certified doors and CARB-compliant products. Using lean manufacturing Oshkosh Door has reduced its production cycle time from one week to less than 1.5 days, while achieving high quality standards. The tour was part of the WCMA's 2009 Plant Tour event.
