Fort Benning near Columbus, GA, is a military community of more than 120,000 active-duty military, family members, reservists and civilians. Nestled inside a complex of motor pools full of heavy combat vehicles on Kelly Hill stands a small building full of tools, lumber and a crew of five soldiers with woodworking skills. The soldiers are warriors in transition who've found a way to keep serving and put their unique talents to use in special 3rd Brigade projects.
