He Makes Cabinetry and Hide-a-Beds for Pets and Their Owners

Kevin Wade has built a niche for his custom cabinetry firm - hide-a-beds for pets, and people. Working in maple, mahogany, cherry, and oak, among other species, Wade's Lasting Generations Woodworking disguises beds as cabinets, and dog crates as end tables.

Furniture maker Alexander White says his Monroe Chair armchair, made of MDF, was inspired by the iconic image of Marilyn Monroe's blowing skirt in scene in the Bill Wilder's 1955 movie, "The Seven Year Itch." It exploits the a nesting CNC router making repeated cuts from a panel.
