Urban Contemporary Larch Cabinets

Updated: 05/31/2013 10:40AM

Book matching fumed Larch (European) was selected because of its linear straight grain and depth of color. The grain match is continuous around all walls and the island. The strong wood selection complements the stone and tile selections and achieves a very urban contemporary look. The stainless steel and glass cabinets along the range wall accent and highlight the Larch cabinets.

The veneers were stitched and laid up in a hot press, and book matched and center matched. Initial sanding to remove glue was done on a wide belt sander, followed by hand sanding to 180 grit.
