Masco Cabinetry's Jennifer Wolff a Rising ISM Supply Chain Star

ANN ARBOR, MI - Masco Cabinetry purchasing manager Jennifer Wolff has been named a 2015 Rising Star by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), a purchasing managers group.

Wolff was included among 29 other winners of 2015 "30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Stars" Recognition Program. Sponsored by ISM and ThomasNet, a supply chain database, unveiled, the program is intended to advance the purchasing manager function among younger professionals.

Wolff, who is Supply Chain Strategy Manager at Masco Cabinetry's Ann Arbor, MI headquarters, was nominated by her boss, Joe Ceccoli, Managing Director, Supply Chain.

Wolff was credited with taking charge of closing down a Masco cabinet component plant, a project for which she had to identify which Masco plant - or third-party facilities - should take over which portions of that plant's output.

During the move, Wolff couldn't let any cabinetry components go out of stock or excess inventory pile up, reports ISM.

"That required detailed follow-up and many visits to the receiving plants," Wolff says "The key to finding the right balance was to move things slowly. That let us fine-tune processes at the receiving plants, and home in on quality."

Wolff's boss at  Masco Cabinetry and nominator, Joe Ceccoli, says her results were terrific. "Because she was willing to work outside her comfort zone, and could drive change in a difficult environment, Jennifer brought extraordinary value to our company."
