LEED v4 Last Chance to Review Before it Goes Live
Sixth Comment Period for LEED v4 Won't Delay Member Ballot

LEED v4 Last Chance to Review Before it Goes LiveThe U.S. Green Building Council announced a new comment period for LEED version 4, the latest version of the LEED rating system. The time of public comment will run from March 1–31 and is focused on refinements to credit calculations and documentation.

USGBC anticipates no delay in the member balloting and release of the version, if passed by members. Most basic credit requirements will not be evaluated, and the LEED v4 draft that goes to member ballot June 1 will reflect the most straightforward requirements.

Selina Holmes, LEED marketing and communications manager at USGBC, said not all credits would be open for comment, remarking that the new Materials & Resources credits, would be part of the focus of this comment period.

The member ballot remains scheduled for June 1-30, with the debut of LEED v4 targeted for Greenbuild 2013.
